Assumptions

Projected super balance at retirement:

The projected total super balance takes into account your starting balance, employee and employer contributions, any additional voluntary contributions as well as interest earned between now and your retirement.

Retirement age:

We have assumed a default retirement age of 65. This can be adjusted in the calculator.

Working life:

The calculator assumes that you will have a continuous working life with no breaks up to your retirement age.

Interest rate:

The default investment returns have been set at 6.0%. This is based on the Nambawan Super 10-year average interest rate.

Employee contributions:

PNG Superannuation laws dictate that 6% is the mandatory minimum contribution for employees to make. Employees may choose to contribute more than the minimum.

Employer contributions:

PNG Superannuation laws dictate that 8.4% is the mandatory minimum contribution that employers have to make. Employers may choose to contribute more than the minimum.

Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated professional for the position of Member Services Supervisor for its Mt. Hagen Branch based in Mt. Hagen, Western Highlands Province.  

Reporting to the Highlands Regional Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient daily operations of NSL Mt. Hagen Branch. 

The position is also responsible for ensuring satisfactory delivery of customer service as well as fostering strong leadership in bringing new NSL businesses, and ensuring that regional targets are achieved collectively on time and specifications.

Our minimum requirements are;
  • Diploma in Management, Finance and Business Administration is preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Must possess sufficient know-how on Frontline Customer Services, Administration and Superannuation.
  • Possess basic Business Acumen skills.
  • Strong Communicator, both written & verbal.
  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • Good Leadership, mentoring and coaching skills. 
  • Reliable and “go to” person.
  • Result driven and pays attention to detail.
  • Have a class 3 or 6 PNG driver’s license (desirable). 
  • Must be a resident of Mt. Hagen, Western Highlands Province.
