Assumptions
Projected super balance at retirement:
The projected total super balance takes into account your starting balance, employee and employer contributions, any additional voluntary contributions as well as interest earned between now and your retirement.
Retirement age:
We have assumed a default retirement age of 65. This can be adjusted in the calculator.
Working life:
The calculator assumes that you will have a continuous working life with no breaks up to your retirement age.
Interest rate:
The default investment returns have been set at 6.0%. This is based on the Nambawan Super 10-year average interest rate.
Employee contributions:
PNG Superannuation laws dictate that 6% is the mandatory minimum contribution for employees to make. Employees may choose to contribute more than the minimum.
Employer contributions:
PNG Superannuation laws dictate that 8.4% is the mandatory minimum contribution that employers have to make. Employers may choose to contribute more than the minimum.

Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) is currently seeking to recruit an experienced and qualified individual for the position of Quality Assurance Officer within the Customer Services Department based at NSL Head Office, Port Moresby.
This position reports to the Team Leader Contact Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and measuring the quality of interaction of Contact Centre Agents with our Members through the various channels, coaching and monitoring and providing a thorough onboarding and training experience to Contact Centre Agents. Ensure Contact Centre Agents are trained well on all NSL products and services, and contain knowledge for the systems required in their roles. Provide the ongoing refresher training sessions on overall job knowledge and required etiquette with Member interactions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the Contact Centre’s and Customer Service’s Key Initiatives and motivational programs.
- Ensuring the Overall Excellent Quality Outcome of the Member Experience through the Contact Centre.
- Evaluating and Measuring the Quality of Member Experience provided to the Members by the Contact Centre Agent through the various interaction channels.
- Creating a positive environment of ongoing training and coaching of Contact Centre Agents
- Conducting 'Pulse checks' with our Members.
- Support Team Leader Contact Centre with managing costs.
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to ensure collective commitment to action and the achievement of your objectives.
- Undertake Leadership & Professional Development to remain relevant and effective in an evolving business environment and for future successive roles.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business Management, Administration or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Experience in monitoring customer interactions through various engagement channels such as calls, email, live chat, social media.
- Knowledge of Nambawan Super products and services would be an advantage.
- Experience in Training & Coaching Staff.
- Approachable with a can-do attitude.
- Sound Communication skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
- Results driven and open-minded.
