Assumptions
Projected super balance at retirement:
The projected total super balance takes into account your starting balance, employee and employer contributions, any additional voluntary contributions as well as interest earned between now and your retirement.
Retirement age:
We have assumed a default retirement age of 65. This can be adjusted in the calculator.
Working life:
The calculator assumes that you will have a continuous working life with no breaks up to your retirement age.
Interest rate:
The default investment returns have been set at 6.0%. This is based on the Nambawan Super 10-year average interest rate.
Employee contributions:
PNG Superannuation laws dictate that 6% is the mandatory minimum contribution for employees to make. Employees may choose to contribute more than the minimum.
Employer contributions:
PNG Superannuation laws dictate that 8.4% is the mandatory minimum contribution that employers have to make. Employers may choose to contribute more than the minimum.

Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) is currently seeking to recruit an experienced and qualified individual for the position of ICT Application Support Analyst within the Information Communication & Technology (ICT) Department based at NSL Head Office, Port Moresby.
This position reports to the Team Leader Systems Development & Support. The successful candidate will provide technical and user support for PRONTO ERP system and other key business application software, analyse and escalate issues or requests to pronto support team or other software vendors for timely resolutions, and coordinate and manage all business applications related changes/customisation implemented as per NSL IT change management process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide first-level support for Pronto ERP and other business software.
- Collaborate with business, technical teams, and vendors to resolve software issues.
- Ensure ERP integrations meet all requirements and specifications.
- Train end users on Pronto ERP and related software.
- Work with key users to document needs for system upgrades and improvements.
- Support and maintain on-premise SQL Server databases and assist with internal system development
- Manage and resolve IT application incidents, updating Helpdesk tickets as per IT Service Level Agreements.
- Follow ITIL practices and stay current on IT developments and training.
- Attend to all other duties as assigned by the Cheif Technology officer.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in computer information systems or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in a role supporting Pronto application.
- Possess good business process knowledge.
- Working knowledge in SQL databases.
- Strong change management skills to support all levels of Pronto ERP and software users.
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to work.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical information in simple terms.
- Problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve user issues with Pronto ERP and other applications.
- Knowledge of roles, security, and access management in software.
- Proficient in general IT, especially with the Pronto ERP system.
- Familiar with the software development lifecycle (analyze, design, develop, test, deploy).
- Knowledge of SQL databases and data analytics tools including but not limited to Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services.
