Assumptions

Projected super balance at retirement:

The projected total super balance takes into account your starting balance, employee and employer contributions, any additional voluntary contributions as well as interest earned between now and your retirement.

Retirement age:

We have assumed a default retirement age of 65. This can be adjusted in the calculator.

Working life:

The calculator assumes that you will have a continuous working life with no breaks up to your retirement age.

Interest rate:

The default investment returns have been set at 6.0%. This is based on the Nambawan Super 10-year average interest rate.

Employee contributions:

PNG Superannuation laws dictate that 6% is the mandatory minimum contribution for employees to make. Employees may choose to contribute more than the minimum.

Employer contributions:

PNG Superannuation laws dictate that 8.4% is the mandatory minimum contribution that employers have to make. Employers may choose to contribute more than the minimum.

Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified, experienced and highly-motivated individual for the position of Digital Marketing Specialist for our Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) Department.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager, and is based at the Nambawan Super Head Office, Port Moresby. The successful candidate will be responsible content creation, scheduling, performance reporting and analysis as well as staying up-to-date with online trends; all to drive engagement, increase conversion rate and grow the following of NSL’s online presence. 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing NSL Online Platforms, Digital Campaign Advertising and Communications.
  • Conceptualizing and creating engaging multimedia content.
  • Provide support to department leaders on projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Preparing reports on profile performance, engagement, and topics of interest.
  • Staying up-to-date with customer, market and social media trends. 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • 2+ years work experience in digital and social media management.
  • High-level technical skills and proficiency in Social and Digital Media Platforms.
  • Experience using analytics tools like SproutSocial and Google Analytics.
  • Competent in content creation tools.  
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills. 
  • Effective and confident communicator – spoken and written. 
  • Team player, self-reliant, highly motivated and resilient.
